Celebrating the spirit of the 'Purist', we are pleased to present this investment-grade, hand-carved Legacy Series bow, as a tribute to the ancient sport of falconry (hunting with trained hawks and falcons).
The extensive level of hand-carving and inlay execution on this bow is nothing short of breathtaking.

The extensive level of hand-carving and inlay execution on this bow is nothing short of breathtaking.
- Intricate 'Basket weave' texturing is hand-carved into the grip and select areas of the riser.
- A series of 'cascading feathers' has been hand-carved into the limb wedges with delicate precision.
- A hand-inlayed silver wing design grace the riser in (4) locations
- An action scene of a Goshawk (with falconry jesses) chasing a running rabbit is carved into premium Boxwood).
- We used hand-held micro cautery needles to carefully burn the image of a Goshawk into an ancient piece of (10,000-50,000 year old) ivory from a Wooly Mammoth tusk.
- Our Master engraver has also prepared a very special set of hand-engraved 'feather style' limb-bolts and bezels for this bow that are simply stunning! Undoubtedly, this world-class, heirloom Blacktail bow will be a cherished addition to any fine bow collection.
