This Legacy series bow is entitled "Packing Out". It features a beautifully hand-carved scene depicting a bowhunter on horseback leading a train of three pack mules out of the mountains. One pack mule is carrying a mule deer head/cape, while another transports an elk skull and rack. On the site-window-side of the bow, elk tracks are carved from the lower limb wedges, up the riser and into the upper limb wedges.
The dark variegated tones of the highly figured limb veneers are nothing short of spectacular—visually textured with an appearance of aged leather, wrinkled with the passage of time. The rich and shadowed sepia hues of the bow exude a historic resonance of epic mountain adventures —a tribute to the heritage of our hunting tradition. Our Master engraver has also prepared a special set of hand-engraved limb-bolts and bezels . Undoubtedly, this world-class, heirloom Blacktail bow will be a cherished addition to any fine bow collection.
