We're pleased to make available this heirloom, hand-carved Blacktail Legacy series bow, entitled 'Wood Grouse Serenade'.
This extraordinarily beautiful bow features an original design expressed through a meticulous hand-carving and inlay execution.
This bow is extra special, as it is our very first hand-crafted Blacktail Legacy series Longbow. Incorporating premium Black Walnut, Cocobolo, Purpleheart and figured Myrtle the bow also features extensive inlay including silver wire, etched mother-of-pearl and silver plate.
The theme of this Legacy bow depicts a forest scene featuring a male and female wood grouse (one carved in walnut and one etched mother-of-pearl inlay). The grip area and limb wedges are adorned with an intricately carved vine motif in conjunction with silver wire vines and etched mother-of-pearl leaves. This heirloom longbow will also include a set of hand-engraved silver limb bolts and bezels.
This stunning bow will be a treasured addition to any fine bow collection.
