This Snakebit series take-down bow features the 19" Elite riser configuration. This is one of the last take-down 'Snakebit' inventory bows we will offer for sale (in the 19" Elite riser configuration). As of 2015, the Snakebit series bows will no longer be offered in the 19" Elite (take-down) riser, configuration and will only be offered in the One-piece or 16" Sitka (take-down) riser configuration.
Extremely rare Snakewood and Gaboon Ebony create an aesthetically stunning and physically weighty riser. Myrtle inlaid accent stripes are incorporated into the riser, footed limbs and tip details — unifying the elements of this bow beautifully. The limbs of this bow feature highly-figured Birdseye Maple. A set of Blacktail's Classic Scroll style hand-engraved limb bolts and bezels is only appropriate for such a special bow. The stippled grip is also a nice addition that completes this Snakebit bow with a non-slip hand hold.
